La Valse – Lahav Shani & Vilde Frang
Orchestral Concert
Sunday, 25 August 2019
6 pm, Gstaad Festival Tent
Two of the most flamboyant ballet works from the early 20th century Parisian scene – Stravinsky’s Petrushka and Ravel’s La Valse – and one of the most languid violin concertos of the Romantic era, Bruch’s First Concerto, performed by Vilde Frang: young prodigy Lahav Shani from Israel will have everything in hand to make a buzz at the head of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra!
