The Board of Directors of Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy AG created the independent and tax-exempt “Stiftung Gstaad Menuhin Festival &Academy” in 2022, in order to secure the festival’s long-term and sustainable success.

The Foundation’s purpose: the Foundation aims to promote the continued existence and further development of the Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy for the benefit of culture lovers from abroad and from the Gstaad-Saanenland region. This includes organising concerts, encouraging talented and young musicians, enabling youth programmes, and promoting the Gstaad Festival Orchestra. The charitable Foundation does not aim to make a profit. It is politically and religiously neutral.

Please help us: with your donation or legacy, you can help to successfully and sustainably continue Yehudi Menuhin’s legacy and the long-standing tradition in the Saanenland of the Menuhin Festival, which was founded in 1957 by this great musician and humanist. With your support, you will help to ensure that future generations will also be able to enjoy high-quality musical and cultural performances within the meaning of the Foundation’s purpose.
