Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy is dedicated to being inclusive for all, expanding its range of accessible experiences. In interactive community music workshops, songs can be sung together or new rhythms invented. The workshops are open to everyone - no special prior knowledge is required. ‘Relaxed Performances’ offer chamber music concerts in the most relaxed atmosphere possible and with barrier-free conditions. The ‘Accompanied Concert Attendance’ programme for people with disabilities involves attending selected concerts together with a music mediator.
Music Workshop
Let’s create music together: In this community music workshop, everyone is invited to join – no musical experience is required. Whether you're singing, drumming or making up your own melodies, it’s all about having fun and expressing yourself. Participation in every aspect of the event is completely voluntary. There are no expectations.

Relaxed Performance
“Relaxed Performances” are designed for everyone, who would like to enjoy barrier-free conditions and a laid-back, relaxed concert atmosphere.
The lighting during the performance remains constant and never fully dark. The doors stay open, allowing the audience to leave and return to the hall at any time during the programme. There are different seating options to choose from, including plenty of wheelchair spaces. A quiet room will also be available as a retreat space.
Violinists Alicja Pilarczyk and María Alejandra Jiménez will take the audience on a journey through the wonderful world of violin music. The concert will last 45 minutes.

Shared Concert Attendance
Accompanied by a music mediator, people with disabilities attend the following concert together. A concert introduction and/or a look behind the scenes is available on request. Where possible, the programme is adapted to special needs.
