Chamber Music

Thursday, 20 July 2017
7.30 pm, Saanen Church

For her second concert in residence, Vilde Frang continues her romance with the chamber music of Brahms together with two outstanding partners: cellist Sol Gabetta – one of the Gstaad Menuhin Festival’s icons – and pianist Nicholas Angelich. Born in the United States, Angelich entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris at the age of 13, studying with Aldo Ciccolini, Yvonne Loriod and Michel Beroff. He is without a doubt one of the finest chamber musicians of his generation, performing regularly with his friends Renaud and Gautier Capuçon.
