Unfortunately, Yuja Wang will not be able to travel to Europe in July and early August this summer. As a result, the concert scheduled for Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 7.30 PM at the Saanen Church has been cancelled. We are delighted to announce that the concert has been rescheduled to Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 7.30 PM. Already purchased tickets will still be valid for the new date. The concert originally scheduled for Saturday, August 3, at 7.30 PM at the Saanen Church will now feature the incredible pianist Seong-Jin Cho:

In 2017, he dedicated his Rougemont recital to Beethoven and Chopin ballads, followed in 2019 by a performance side by side with the Gstaad Festival Orchestra in Beethoven’s “Emperor” concerto. After two sensational concerts at Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy, the winner of the 2015 Chopin Competition is back at the 2024 Festival edition with a new, magnificent recital programme. With Franz Liszt’s contemplation of Italy from his Années de pèlerinage and Maurice Ravel’s impressionistically coloured Miroirs, two masterpieces filled with poetic depth await us. Seong-Jin Cho is one of the few interpreters who has it all. None other than Sir Simon Rattle has given us his word.
