She is the perfect embodiment of the “big family” of Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy. Basel-born violinist Anna Naomi Schultsz has been working with the Gstaad Festival Youth Orchestra as a concertmaster since 2019. As a student of Julia Fischer in Munich, she won the audience award in the “Jeunes Etoiles” series last summer, giving her the opportunity to perform in a new recital, this time in the evening and as part of the main programme. She will share the stage with her partner from last summer, Chiara Opalio, who has been one of the “Jeune Etoiles” of 2021!
