Born in 1995 in Tolyatti, Russian pianist Anastasia Vorotnaya studied with Vassili Ermakov at the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow, and then with Dimitri Bashkirov at the Queen Sofia College of Music in Madrid, before joining the International Piano Academy Lake Como in 2016. Benefitting from a Yamaha Music Foundation Europe Scholarship since 2017, she has won several international competitions (including the Prague “Concertino” Competition in 2010) and often plays as a soloist, particularly with the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation and “New Names” Foundation.
