Matinée des Jeunes Etoiles VI – Nadège Rochat
Chamber Music
Saturday, 24 August 2019
10.30 am, Gstaad Chapel
She is one of Switzerland’s most promising cellists. Several recordings testify to her already very sharp personality, such as «La vida breve» (duo with guitarist Rafael Aguirre) or her interpretations of Lalo and Milhaud Concertos (with the Wurtemberg Philharmonic Orchestra and Ola Rudner) and, more recently, of Elgar and Walton Concertos (with Paul Meyer and the Staatskapelle Weimar). Trained in Cologne with Maria Kliegel and in London with Robert Cohen, Nadège Rochat is at present preparing a new album dedicated to Ralph Vaughan-Williams and his Fantasia on Sussex Folk Tunes.
