The pianist Adam Laloum, laureate of the Clara Haskil Competition in 2009 and the Victoires de la Musique (in the solo instrument category) in 2017 has chosen one of Fauré’s most beautiful pieces to join the Belcea strings: his first Piano Quintet, composed (liked the sketches of Bartók’s Sixth Quartet) on Swiss soil – in Zurich and Lausanne, where the composer came to rest and seek treatment for his eyes with the renowned Professor Dufour.
