Matinée des Jeunes Etoiles IV – Clara Shen
Chamber Music
Saturday, 10 August 2019
10.30 am, Gstaad Chapel
It is a well-known fact that talent does not depend on age… Organised for the first time in Geneva in 2018, the Menuhin Competition was marked by the stunning performance – particularly in Saint-Saëns’s Havanaise – of this twelve-year-old violinist from Munich, who made her debut the previous year with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. Clara Shen is at present furthering her training with Sonja Korkeala and Paul Roczek.
