Fin de siècle – Faust, Melnikov & Salagon Quartet
Chamber Music
Friday, 9 August 2019
7.30 pm, Zweisimmen Church
If Franck’s Sonata is today one the most popular French works of the repertoire, Ernest Chausson’s Concert deserves to get more attention. It is therefore a great privilege to be gifted this height of finesse and refinement – an unusual dialogue between a solo violin, a piano and a string quartet – by six born chamber musicians at the summit of their art.
