the Menuhin Academy Soloists
Orchestral Concert
Wednesday, 8 August 2018
7.30 pm, Saanen Church
Founded in Gstaad by Yehudi Menuhin in 1977, the International Menuhin Music Academy is a natural partner with the festival. Led by Alberto Lysy until 2008, the school has benefited since 2011 from the support, talents, enthusiasm and energy of Maxim Vengerov. Located in Blonay for many years, the school is now home in Rolle. Faithful to the tradition, the IMMA orchestra, made up of the best students, voyages to Saanen with a colorful programme for which great preparation has been made.
