Born in South Korea in 1995, Min-Ji Kim has studied with Ivan Monighetti and Sol Gabetta at the Music Academy in Basel since 2014. The winner of a number of international competitions, she has performed with the Philharmonic Orchestras in Turin and in Tokyo. Min-Ji Kim plays a magnificent cello by Julius Cesare Gigli built in 1767 and placed at her disposal by the Boubo Music Foundation.
