Born in Turkey in 1996, Georgian violinist Veriko Tchumburidze studied with Dora Schwarzberg in Vienna and currently studies with Ana Chumachenko in Munich. Prize winner of the Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians in Montreux in 2012 and of the Wieniawski Competition in Poznan in 2016, she released her first recording for Sony Records before the age of 20. She plays a magnificent instrument by Andrea Amati dating from 1540.
