Today's Music

Tuesday, 8 August 2017
7.30 pm, Lauenen Church

Like their colleagues in Berlin, the musicians from the prestigious Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra love to step out of their traditional roles in the concert halls and opera houses in order to offer interludes far from the beaten track… and audiences profit from this! Founded in 2008 by Gerhard Kaufmann, the Vienna Cello Ensemble 5 + 1 consists of five men (three of whom are from the orchestra) and… a woman, with an imaginative programme that is sure to seduce!
