It is not necessary to be Bernese in order to enjoy and appreciate the magnificent, tranquil beauty of Lake Thun; it is universal! Brahms came with great delight long before today’s tourists, and he rewarded the world with some of his greatest masterpieces, such as the Piano Trio No. 3, which he conceived here during the summer of 1886.
