Last year he set the festival tent in Gstaad on fire with his performance of Prokofiev’s First Concerto together with Valery Gergiev and the Mariinksy Theater Orchestra from St. Petersburg. Boris Berezovsky demonstrates with this concert (as if it were necessary?!) that he is likewise an artist of poetry and intimacy featuring a programme with emphasis on French music from the turn of the 19th to 20th centuries.
