Matinée des Jeunes Etoiles VIII – Winners Concert of the Kiefer Hablitzel | Göhner Prize
Chamber Music
Saturday, 31 August 2024
11.30 am, Gstaad Chapel
Thanks to pioneers like Richard Galliano (who will also perform at Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy 2024 on July 26th at the Rougemont Church), the accordion has experienced a true renaissance in recent years – which is a gift to the entire music world! The young soprano Chelsea Marilyn Zurflüh from Bern collaborates with French accordionist Laurène Dif (trained in Lausanne) to explore “the night and its dreams”, as the evening is titled. The programme features pieces by Schubert and Fauré, among others, and in this unique collaboration, these compositions take on entirely fresh colours and subtleties.
