Bach-Busoni – Humility & Models XIV

A recital by Fazil Say is always a special event. For beyond the technical performance, this pianist, who is also a magnificent composer, knows how to reveal with finesse the sometimes unsuspected facets of the works he performs. We can count on him to challenge our senses when listening to Beethoven's very Shakespearean “Tempest” as much as to Bach-Busoni's momentous Chaconne … all this in a spirit of “double humility”: facing the work of the creator AND that of the “recreator”!
