Nocturne aux chandelles
Jean Rondeau & Nevermind – Menuhin's Heritage Artist IV
Chamber Music
Saturday, 3 August 2019
10 pm, Gstaad Chapel
After his nocturnal Goldberg Variations in Zweisimmen in 2017, the «enfant terrible» of the French harpsichord is back this summer with another candle-lit programme. Jean Rondeau is staying faithful to the great Bach while adding two pieces by Bach’s contemporary, Telemann, performed with his three accomplices from the Nevermind Quartet.
