Orchestral Concert

Saturday, 11 August 2018
7.30 pm, Saanen Church

Greatly celebrated at the Victoires de la musique classique in 2015, French artist Jean Rondeau quickly established himself as the new international star on the harpsichord. A “Menuhin’s Heritage Artist” since 2017, he continues his explorations of the treasures from the Bach family dynasty with this concert. Following his recital in 2016, he spotlights concertos for harpsichord with the Basel Chamber Orchestra, together with violinist Alexandra Conunova, a former student of Renaud Capuçon in Lausanne and the winner of the third prize at the Tchaikovsky Competition in 2015.
