Together with Alexander Melnikov she performed one of the sensations at the festival in 2017: Beethoven’s complete violin sonatas. Isabelle Faust is back in Gstaad with a number of friends to perform another of the monuments of chamber music: Franz Schubert’s Octet. A work in six movements filled with citations of folk songs, Ländler and folk dances.
