After having shared the stage with Vilde Frang on 20 July, Sol Gabetta and Nicholas Angelich return to perform more romantic gems under the vaults of the church in Saanen: Schumann, Brahms (one of the key composers on this year’s programme) as well as the very beautiful Sonata by Britten, written in Greece while thinking of Mstislav Rostropovitch’s playing.
