Organ Symphony – Organ, King of the Instruments II
Gstaad Festival Orchestra I
Symphony Concert
Saturday, 12 August 2017
7.30 pm, Gstaad Festival Tent
The Gstaad Festival Orchestra is particularly busy this summer, not only with its activities for the Gstaad Conducting Academy – it is the main “instrument” – but also with two major concerts in the festival tent in Gstaad. The first of these concerts features the return of an extraordinary soloist, an artist who is constantly redefining what is “classically correct”: pianist Fazil Say, a musician well known to Festival audiences. He performs together with the new artistic director of the Conducting Academy and the Gstaad Festival Orchestra, Jaap van Zweden.
The Gstaad Festival Orchestra is supoorted by Mr Philippe Foriel-Destezet, Hotelierverein Gstaad Saanenland and Gstaad Saanenland Tourism.
