Following the Wagner evening with Jonas Kaumann, now an evening with two stunning stars dedicated to Italian opera: Rossini, Bellini and Donizetti, bel canto pure! With the assistance of “Scintilla”, the Baroque ensemble from the Zurich Opera, under the direction of Riccardo Minasi, Olga Peretyatko and Juan Diego Flórez will lead us on a musical journey to the heart of the Alps, from Lake Lucerne in Rossini’s “William Tell” to the mountains of Chamonix in Donizetti’s “Linda” to the Swiss village without a name in Bellini’s “La Sonnambula”.
